The INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) and the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI) conducted an audit review meeting for the 6th Cooperative Performance Audit of Preparedness for Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The primary objective of this cooperative audit is to support SAIs in conducting ISSAI-based performance audits of preparedness for implementation of SDGs in their national context. Twenty-nine performance auditors from 13 Pacific Audit Offices attended this meeting from 11 to 15 June 2018 in Nadi, Fiji.
In the review meeting, SAI teams presented their preliminary findings and shared their draft audit report with the IDI, PASAI and peer teams participating in the programme. Experts and mentors guided the teams in improving the findings and overall quality of the reports. SAI teams will work on the draft reports in their SAI, and send the finalized reports to the IDI and PASAI by the agreed timeline.
