IDI Board and Governance
IDI’s strategic direction and overarching management is handled by a 10-member non-executive Board.
At IDI, our team includes a diverse group of professionals bringing expertise from Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), the public and private sectors, the development community, and civil society. We have a non-executive Board as our principal strategic body, and it is responsible for managing IDI’s strategic direction. The IDI Board members are appointed on their professional merit and mainly include Heads of SAIs.
The Auditor General of Norway chairs the IDI Board, and together with nine additional Board members from SAIs, they meet at least twice a year.
Board meetings may include observers.
The Board members are appointed for three-year terms to a maximum of six years.
