SPMR Round 2 participant SAIs gather in Istanbul at the Strategy Implementation and Reporting workshop, 6-10 February 2023

Within the scope of the IDI's Strategy, Performance Measurement, and Reporting (SPMR) initiative, 18 representatives from 9 SAIs gathered in Istanbul to attend the workshop on Strategy Implementation and Reporting.

The main objectives of the workshop were to familiarize the participants with modern implementation and reporting principles, encourage experience-sharing, and identify ways to further improve SAI strategic management practices.

The workshop ignited fruitful conversations on various topics linked to the strategy implementation and reporting, including change and risk management, decision-making, and monitoring the operational plan, just to mention a few. The teams had an opportunity to deepen their understanding of implementation and reporting principles throughout the sessions, present their progress and challenges, and engage in bilateral discussions with facilitators to refine or develop their monitoring plans.


A diverse group of participants consisted of representatives from the SAIs of Aruba, Albania, Kosovo, Mauritius, Montenegro, Namibia, St. Lucia, Türkiye, and Zambia. The workshop was co-facilitated by resource persons from SAI Serbia, Miloš Mandušić and SAI Indonesia, Sonia Moeharjono Puteri.

The SPMR initiative is funded by the Swiss Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
