UNDESA and the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) j meeting of Supreme Audit Institutions’ (SAI) leadership and stakeholders on Audit of Preparedness for Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was held from 20 to 21 July 2017 at UNHQ. The meeting enabled substantive discussions on issues related to auditing preparedness for SDG implementation, including the integration of the 2030 Agenda in national contexts, capacities and means of implementation, and follow-up and review. Discussions highlighted the vast diversity of SAIs’ contexts, mandates, capacities and resources, and the challenges related to focusing on issues of performance and inclusiveness.
