11 August 2020

Your comments are requested on the SAI Strategic Management Handbook by 15 November 2020.

The INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) launched the Strategy, Performance Measurement and Reporting (SPMR) initiative at the end of 2017 to support the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) in strategic management. SPMR comprises regional, in-country and remote support to SAIs for measuring their performance using the SAI Performance Measurement Framework (SAI PMF), for developing strong strategic and operational plans and for establishing integrated performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms. SPMR is implemented with the financial support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

In the context of SPMR, the IDI has developed a new SAI strategic management handbook-Version 0, which is now available in Arabic, French and Spanish for public comments. This handbook updates and expands the 2009 SAI strategic planning handbook. The handbook can be downloaded here:
