SPMR – SAI PMF Review Workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh

28 October 2019

The first component of the IDI-ASOSAI Initiative on Strategy, Performance Measurement and Reporting is well underway.

12 SAIs in ASOSAI are in the final stages of the process of assessing their current level of performance using the SAI Performance Measurement Framework (SAI PMF). These 12 assessment teams met in Dhaka, Bangladesh for the SAI PMF review workshop which was kindly hosted by the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh.

It was a very productive workshop where the participants worked on finalizing their SAI PMF assessments and also analyzing the results of their SAI PMF assessments.

The SPMR initiative supports the whole strategic management cycle of the participating SAIs over the course of four years and is supported by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

The next component of the initiative is to use the results of the SAI PMF assessment in combination with a stakeholder assessment as a basis for strategic planning.

We are looking forward to meeting the Strategic Planning teams in Laos, Vientiane 2-6 December for the Strategic Planning Workshop!
