  • Our mission
    The INTOSAI Development Initiative is an INTOSAI body, which supports Supreme Audit Institutions in developing countries, in their efforts to sustainably enhance performance, independence and professionalism. The IDI provides this support by facilitating and coordinating effective SAI capacity development programmes; developing and disseminating Global Public Goods; strengthening regional bodies, networks and communities;and mobilizing scaled up and more effective support to SAIs.

The 8th Steering Committee Meeting of the INTOSAI-Donor Cooperation will be hosted by the Tribunal de Contas da União – Brazil on the 5-7 October 2015 in Brasilia, Brazil. A total of 50 INTOSAI and donor representatives are expected to attend the meeting, which will take stock of the achievements of the Cooperation since the 7th Steering Committee meeting in Paris in 2014.

Direction for the development of the SAI PMF Endorsement Version approved by the Working Group on the Value and Benefits of SAIs

At the 8th meeting of the Working Group on the Value and Benefits of SAIs in Nanjing, China on 14-16 September 2015, the Working Group endorsed the SAI PMF Task Team’s considerations regarding consultation comments and experiences from pilots, including its recommendations for the development of the SAI PMF Endorsement Version which is to put forward for approval at the 2016 INCOSAI. Survey on SAI stakeholder engagement 2015

The Effective Institutions Platform (EIP) is launching a survey on Supreme Audit Institutions engagement with external stakeholders. The survey will identify case studies and good practices, and all interested SAIs are invited to complete it by October 9. Please read more here.
